1. Agreement

By creating an account or using HoodaHire, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. What HoodaHire is

HoodaHire is a job search tool that uses AI to find relevant jobs, tailor your resume, and help you reach out to hiring managers. It is a tool to assist your job search — it does not guarantee employment or job interviews.

3. Your account

• You must be at least 16 years old to use HoodaHire
• You are responsible for keeping your password secure
• You may only create one account per person
• You must provide accurate information when signing up

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use HoodaHire to send spam or unsolicited bulk messages
• Attempt to access other users' data
• Reverse engineer or scrape the platform
• Upload content you do not have the right to share (e.g. another person's resume)
• Use the platform for any illegal purpose

5. AI-generated content

HoodaHire uses AI (Claude by Anthropic) to tailor resumes and draft messages. You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before using it. We do not guarantee accuracy or suitability of AI outputs. Always verify that tailored resumes accurately represent your experience.

6. Your data

You own your data. By uploading your resume and LinkedIn connections, you give us permission to process that data to provide the service. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

7. Service availability

We aim to keep HoodaHire available but do not guarantee uptime. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We will give reasonable notice for significant changes.

8. Limitation of liability

HoodaHire is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including missed job opportunities or decisions made based on AI-generated content.

9. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data is deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. We will notify registered users by email of material changes. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
